Coffee Chocolate Truffles Recipe

It doesn’t exist something better and easier to do than coffee chocolate truffles. This delicious chocolate balls, with coffee flavour can make your day better.

All you need is chocolate, egg yolks, butter and instant coffee. Of course, you can make chocolate truffles with any flavours you want.

You can cover the coffee chocolate truffles with your favourite flavours: cocoa, coconut, white chocolate, cinnamon.

Ingredients

  • 300 g chocolate
  • 50 ml sour cream
  • 1 tbls instant coffee
  • 30 g butter
  • 2 egg yolks
  • cocoa; coconut; white chocolate

Method

Step 01

Chop the chocolate and melt it on bain - marie. When you melt chocolate, always use bain - marie ( you need a pot with boiling water, and a second one, smaller,  to put over it).

Step 02

In the melted chocolate add 2 egg yolks, butter, sour cream and instant coffee. Mix well and set it to cold.

You can make chocolate truffles with any flavour you like. Change the instant coffee with brandy, orange juice, almond syrup. For some delicious Christmas gifts, use cinnamon, anise or brandy.

Step 03

When the coffee chocolate truffles mix is cold, make small balls and cover them with cocoa, coconut or anything you like. Keep them on fridge, until you serve them. Put them in small truffles paper cups and make a sweet present for your family and friends. For childrens, sprinkle the chocolate truffles with multi coloured candies.
