Dried Fruit Stuffed Oranges
It’s beginnig to look a lot like Christmas!!!!!!!! Yes, it’s time for cinnamon cookies, punch, mulled wine, oranges, ginger bread, carols and presents.
I propose to you a healthy Christmas treat: dried fruits stuffed oranges. With fresh oranges, healthy dried fruits, honey, rum & cinnamon (a lot of Christmas flavours 🙂 ). It’s quick, easy to do, and you don’t need to cook.
Impress your friend wiyh something delicious, sofisticated and healthy. And childrens will love the fresh oranges, the vanilla cream and the dried fruit with honey.
- 8 big oranges or 10 - 12 medium oranges
- 250 g dry fruits mix
- 1 tablespoon honey
- fresh squeezed lime juice
- 50 ml orange lace
- ½ teaspoons cinnamon
- 200 ml whipped cream
So, with some fresh oranges you can make a delicious and healthy Christmas treats.
Cut oranges in half and scoop out the pulp, leaving a thin shell. If you don’t have big oranges, you can use medium oranges. In this case, you have to cut only the top of the orange (like in the first picture).
Mix the dried fruits with honey and orange lace and place it into the fridge for 2 hours. Add the orange pulp and mix well. Spoon the mixture into orange shell then top with cream and cinnamon.
