Spicy Grilled Cheese Recipe

One more reason for healthy eating: it’s summer, so it’s time for grill. They are so many recipes for grill, that you can make something new  for your family and your friends every day: vegetables on grill, fruits on grill, grilled chicken with fresh salads, cheese on grill and of course grilled fish.

For today I want to share with you another no meat dinner idea: spicy grilled cheese recipe with fresh herbs.  Because we love simple recipes, for these one we need just some  salt cheese, fresh spring herbs, olive oil, and of course, a grill  where to cook our  easy dinner.

If  you like light mediterranean food, this grilled cheese recipe is a must on your easy dinner list.


4 slices cottage cheese

2 teaspoons oregano

8 teaspoons olive oil

2 garlic cloves thinly sliced

8 spring onion thinly sliced

2 red bell peppers chopped

A handful of persil leaves, chopped

Salt & pepper

Fresh Basil

2 teaspoons  wine vinegar

Alluminium foil

Step 01

Put each slice of cottage cheese on a alluminium foil and sprinkle  with olive oil.

Step 02

Top with garlic, oregano and some olive oil.

Step 03

Pack each cheese slice in alluminium foil and grill it for 20 min.

Step 04

In a small bowl mixthe onion, bell peppers chopped, persil, wine vinegar, salt & pepper.

Serve the spicy grilled cheese topped with the fresh herbs mix.
