I’m not sure what this bell peppers & mushrooms pie is: a easy no meat recipe, a quick appetizer or a cold snack recipe. I use this bell peppers & mushrooms pie recipe everythime when I need to prepare something quick for my friends. I always use fresh coloured bell peppers, but sometimes, I substitute the mushrooms with sweet corn, or leek. Also, I use what cheese I have in the fridge: sour cheese, ricotta, cottage cheese, etc.
So, you can try this bell peppers & mushrooms pie recipe, with what you have in the fridge. The fresh bell peppers and the sesame seeds are a must!!!!
For dough, mix the ingredients and put it in the fridge for 3 hours.
For the filling, chop the bell peppers, mushrooms and the tomato.
Whisk the eggs and mix with the cheese. Add some salt, pepper and oregano.
Lay the dough on a 20 x 30 cm pan and cover it with the cheese & eggs mix.
Add the choped bell peppers, mushrooms and the tomato. Sprinkle the bell peppers & mushrooms pie with a lot of sesame seeds.
Bake for 25 min. You can serve this bell peppers & mushrooms pie hot, with a dill & garlic sauce, or cold as a snack.
