Homemade Yoghurt Ice Cream Recipe
Sun, sea, beach, holiday, cocktails and, of course, ice cream. Homemade ice cream made from fresh yoghurt and cooling lemon juice. Easy to do, healthy (made only by natural ingredients) and cooling, these ice cream recipe is the perfect dessert for a hot summer day. You can serve the homemade yoghurt ice cream with fruits, with chocolate or with a cooling lemon & honey topping .
This is definetlely the easiest homemade ice cream recipe (in the summer we don’t like to spend a lot of time in kitchen, don’t we ?).In a large bowl mix the yoghurt with the sugar and fresh squizzed lemon juice. Add gently the cream and mix again.
If you want, you can make a cooling lemon & honey mix, from 2 tbs of lemon juice and 1 tbs of honey. Put the mix in the ice cream form and set to the fridge for 1 hour. When the lemon & honey mix is freezed, add the yoghurt mix and set again to the fridge for 5-6 hours. When is freezed, turn it up side down, and you’ll have a nice youghurt ice cream with a delicious lemon topping. I served the homemade yoghurt ice cream with honey and fresh basil; you can use fresh minth, chocolate, ginger or fuits.
