Viennese Cherry Pie Recipe
Something sweet for weekend? What do you say about a viennese cherry pie recipe? With a dough that melt in you mouth and a sweet- sourish cherry filling, sprinkled with sugar. And if you have luck and it’s hot……you just can’t stop eating it . But my advise is to take delight to the viennese cherry pie; it deserve it.

Ingredients
500 g flour
3 tbls oil
200 ml water
1 tbl vinegar
a pinch of salt
Filling
1 kg cherry
250 g sugar
150 g butter
2 tbls bread crumbs (semolina)
vanilla flavour sugar
30 g almonds
caster sugar for sprinkle

Step 01
In a large bowl mix the flour, oil, the vinegar and a pich of salt.
Step 02
Add the water (warm) and knead till you have a soft dough. Set aside for 15 min.
Step 03
In a bowl stir the cherry with the sugar and take aside for 30 min.Drain the cherry.
Step 04
On a lightly floured surface, roll out dough to desired thickness.
Step 05
Sprinkle the dough with the bread crumbs or semolina, then add the cherry mixed with sugar.
Step 06
Roll over the dough, top with almonds and bake for 40 min.
Step 07
Let the viennese cherry pie to cool, then sprinkle with caster sugar.
